Health and Safety information


To keep Pencoose Festival attendees safe when enjoying our event, there are certain rules which must be followed, in order for everyone who attends to have the best experience possible.

  • Pencoose Festival is a strictly over-18 event and identification must be provided upon entry to a member of our security team. Those who cannot provide identification will be refused entry and may be prohibited from attending future Pencoose events. No refunds will be provided to anyone who has purchased a ticket but has been refused entry.
  • Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any individuals exhibiting such behaviour will be ejected from the site and may be prohibited from attending future Pencoose events. No refunds to purchased tickets will be provided if one is ejected from the premises for this reason.
  • Our first-aid trained Pencoose team and medical tent will be available to anyone who feels unwell or is in need of medical assistance. If you feel unwell, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the team who will be identifiable by high-visibility vests.  Any lost property handed in will be stored at the Pencoose Festival storeroom, if you lose any belongings lease contact a member of our team or email us for more information.
  • Pencoose is a ticketed event, and anyone found on the festival site without a ticket will be ejected from the premises. Anyone attempting to enter the site without a ticket will be refused entry.
  • Ticket holders must ensure they use only the main entrance for access to the site. For health and safety reasons, anyone attempting to access the site through any other means will be ejected from the site, regardless of if they hold a valid ticket.
  • Illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the Pencoose Festival site. Those found in possession of illegal drugs will be ejected by our security team and may be prohibited from attending future Pencoose events.
  • If you plan to camp at the festival and need any information on the camping facilities, please get in touch with a member of the team, who will provide any information you may need.
  • Please do not litter anywhere on the Pencoose Festival site and ensure any litter is put in the bins provided. If you see any bins which are full, please alert a member of staff who will be on hand to rectify this issue.
  • Our security team reserve the right to search any persons and their belongings if the believe that they may pose a health and safety risk to other attendees.
  • For health and safety reasons, festival attendees are only permitted use of the main festival site. This defined as the stage area, bar area, medical area, car park, toilets and camping area. This access strictly excludes the back stage area and any areas not inside the event boarders. The event boarders will be clearly fenced off and anyone attempting to breach these boarders will be asked to leave the site by security.
  • Anyone who is engaging in dangerous behaviour that puts either themselves or other at risk will be asked to leave the premises.
  • If you require any help or assistance whilst at the festival, please do not hesitant to contact a member of the team, who will always be happy to help.

Legal Information


In order to protect the rights of the Pencoose team as well as the landowners, certain legal measures have to be put in place. By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to these conditions:

  • None of the Pencoose Festival team or affiliated companies can be responsible for any damages caused whilst attending the festival. This is including but not limited to theft of property as well as personal injuries sustained at the festival. 
  • The Pencoose bar will not offer any refunds and the Pencoose team are not liable for anyone who drinks an excessive amount of alcohol, or any damages incurred as a result of products bought from the bar.
  • Tickets are not refundable and will be cross checked with identification by a member of our security team. Please do not resell any tickets without first emailing the Pencoose team and providing information of the new attendee, which will be updated on the ticketing system. 
  • Although all reasonable adjustments will be made to ensure full ticket prices are refunded, in the event of a cancellation tickets purchased may only be subject to partial refunds.
  • The Pencoose team reserve the right to eject anyone from the premises without providing a reason for doing so.
